Hi everyone;
So yes, I did decide to take the plunge. Last weekend I got my hair sisterlocked! I'm so excited. I thought I'd post a few "before" pictures so you can see what my hair was like before I got it done. Enjoy!
The first picture is me with my little friend Asenath in Haiti last June!
The second is a picture of me with it flat ironed last Christmas (I would straighten it once a year just for fun!)
The third and fourth pics are just to show you how I always wore it. It was always in twists that I re-did every few weeks. It took so long all the time and I would always lose so much hair (my hair is VERY prone to breakage!) so I thought maybe locks would be just the right thing for me!
If you'd asked me 4 years ago whether I'd lock I would have said NEVER! I love my loose hair. But it breaks so bad and is so hard to keep from tangling... After wearing my hair in twists constantly for the last year I thought it was finally time to take that leap. I'm really looking forward to seeing what this journey has in store for me!
